On the contrary, I'd be sort of disgusted. There's a book titled something like Five Love Languages where giving and receiving gifts is one way people express love the others being 'acts of service', 'touch', 'words of affirmation', and 'quality time'. But, to me, gifts are like the antithesis of love. Any trained monkey can fork out money to send an emoticon; similar to winks and favorites which I also ignore.
